Minimum Wage increased for 2025 4th of December 2024, a proposal to increase the minimum wage has been approved starting 1st of January 2025. New minimum Wage details below: Current hourly rate : XCG 11.28, New hourly rate XCG 11.72 as of 1st January 2025, Monthly Gross minimum wage : XCG 2,209.90.

As of June 2024, all legal entities in Curaçao must register their Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) in the UBO register, as required by the new government decree. This applies to entities like NVs, BVs, foundations, associations, trusts, and similar structures. New entities are registered by the notary at incorporation. Existing entities have until July 1, 2025 to comply. Late or incorrect submissions may result in fines up to XCG 25,000. The Tax Office will strictly enforce this rule. Registration is fully digital via the UBO portal: https://ubo.curacao-chamber.cw The Ministry of Finance urges all entities to register on time to avoid penalties and support the fight against money laundering and terrorism financing.
